BGMI: How to download BGMI 1.7 update

Krafton is preparing to release Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) version 1.7 to users in the coming days. The new update will include numerous new features, such as new events, characters, and changes to the quality of gameplay. Players can update the game by going to their respective app stores or downloading it from a third-party service. APK files can also be used to install the most recent version of the game. Installing the game via APK files, on the other hand, is only available to Android users.

Players who don’t get the 1.7 update on their smartphones can download it via APK files. Here is a step by step guide on how to download the 1.7 update for BGMI on Android:

  1. Download the APK and OBB file on a compatible device from valid sources.
  2. Head to the folder where both files are downloaded.
  3. Click on the APK file to install the game and enable permission to install apps through unknown sources.
  4. Now, copy the OBB file and paste it to Android > OBB > com.pubg.imobile.
  5. Open the game and download any remaining resources.

TOP FEATURES IN 1.7 UPDATE

Mirror World Mode

Mirror World mode, based on the BGMI x Arcane collaboration, will be included in the BGMI 1.7 update. Players will be able to interact with the League of Legends character that appears in the Arcane animated web series. In the game, players can choose from four different characters, each with unique abilities. Players can also land directly on Mirror World Island from their plane to obtain additional loot.

Piggyback and Smoke Grenade Mode

The new piggyback feature enables players to carry downed teammates on their backs. The smoke grenades used by the BGMI have also been improved. When a grenade is thrown, players will now be able to see an arc of smoke, which will help them understand the trajectory of the nade.
