BMPS 2022 Week 2 Day 1 has come to an end, and it was nothing less than a the much needed action packed start to the week. Team XO had a much needed comeback and accumulated 85 points in the whole day to make a climb from 17th position to 4th. They now have a total of 4 chicken dinners. Team Soul maintained their top spot with 273 points, a total of 4 chicken dinners. The race to the top still continues between OR Esports and Soul since at one point in time, OR took the lead from Soul and are now second with 271 points. In the newly re introduced Vikendi, Team Hydra outplayed every other team and managed to get chicken dinner. Team Blind came in second with a total of 9 finishes, followed by RTR who had 6 finishes. This was the glimpse of what could be done and expected out of this map, and so fittingly it was a positive change from the long but excrutiating heal battles. The epic fights and rotational clashes were the best and teams will only be minting strategies from here on.

The fifth match saw a rather early elimination of Hydra Esports, who was finished at th 13th place. This match saw SouL getting a chicken dinner and in a rather Dr Hector style. When 50 players were alive, the team lost Akshat and Omega, from there on, Hector and Goblin held the higher ground and got finishes and the zone favoured them. In the ninth zone, it was between Fierce, and Hector. Fierce had the lower ground, and Hector, the same hill top. The game of heal battle started but the zone hadn’t even touched Hector when Fierce got finished outside the zone, ensuring SouL’s win.
Team Soul retained their top spot with 273 points with one chicken dinner on day 1 of the second week. As far as Team XO is concerned, before Day 1 began, team XO was at the 17th spot and was in the danger zone. But by the time Day 1 ended they had climbed to the 4th place with a total of 4 chicken dinners wiht 187 points. Matches will also resume on May 27 with the same 24 teams fighting to get to the top 16.
