BGMI 1.8 Update release date and time revealed

The creators have not revealed the new features of the BGMI version, although they are likely to be identical to those of the PUBG Mobile upgrade.

It’s BGMI’s turn now that PUBG Mobile’s 1.8 update has arrived. The BGMI 1.8 update will be available tomorrow, 14 January 2022, according to Krafton, the Battlegrounds Mobile India developer.

Yesterday, 12 January 2022, at roughly 4:30 PM IST, the PUBG Mobile update was released. The update added new features to the game, and BGMI’s latest significant update is expected to do the same.

BGMI 1.8 Update Release Date

The update is scheduled to arrive at different times on Android and iOS platforms. The exact timing of the update is also dependent on the device version that the players are using.

According to information from Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official website, the 1.8 update will be available tomorrow at the following times:

Android: 12:30 PM IST to 8 PM IST
iOS: 4:30 PM IST onwards

Players can get the current version of the game from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. The developers will warn the gamers if there is a delay in their arrival.

Because the update includes a slew of new features and will be several hundred megabytes in size, mobile gamers are advised to upgrade the game while connected to a strong wifi network.

New features of 1.8 BGMI update

The creators have not revealed the new features of the BGMI version, although they are likely to be identical to those of the PUBG Mobile upgrade. Here are some of the features battle royale players can look forward to:

Aftermath, a new Classic mode, will be added to the game.
Spiderman-themed game modes will be available in Livik and Erangel for players to enjoy.
Players will be able to buy supplies with the currency they find on the map at a new supply shop.
In specific maps and modes, mobile gamers will be able to summon a fallen friend from the skies.
