The last official update of the game was given to us back in November when it was anticipated the game would return around Diwali
Battlegrounds Mobile India: PUBG Mobile was tirelessly working over the last nine months to get the Indian version of the battle royale game back in the country. The feat has now been achieved since there was a motion poster released on YouTube by makers of the game. What is more interesting is that Krafton is tirelessly promoting the rebranded game– Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Recall, the last official update of the game was given to us back in November when it was anticipated the game would return around Diwali.
The most recent post was from the green map of the game– the Sanhok map. Sanhok was added as the third map in PUBG Mobile, and came as the iconic tropical battleground theme. The jungle map became popular for its intense close-range combat experience.
Regular visitors of Sanhok would recall the picturesque south corner of the map named ‘Ban Tai’. The southern side could also be a strong indicator a different map than Erangle could ensure the game is actually coming.
The officials posted “We’ve waited for you as long as you have for us! Gather your squads and prepare to rule the battlegrounds!” highlighting the message ‘Battlegrounds are waiting’.
While these posts didn’t report so much, fan theories have emerged. One in particular has caught the eyes of the people. Recall, Battlegrounds Mobile India posted a community update on their official YouTube Channel featuring a Level 3 Helmet eclipsing a beam of light. Now, the possibility might be as slim as possible, but fans have a seemingly possible theory. The theory suggests the game would release on the next Solar Eclipse, which is on June 10th. To some, it will hardly make sense but fans of the game’s release are more than willing to buy it. Although one thing is for sure, the post does confirm that the game is releasing soon.
More updates are likely to drop soon, who knows, the officials might just post the date by mistake on the official Facebook page, Website & YouTube channel. Additionally, the game will start pre-registrations before its launch. Once it enters the pre-registration period, which is expected to begin in late May, we will have a much clearer idea about its release date. One can pre-register from Battlegrounds Mobile India website.
