Battlegrounds Mobile India breaks all records, registers 2 crore pre-registrations in 2 weeks

In the run-up to launch Battlegrounds Mobile India, the developers opened the pre-registrations on May 18. Two weeks since the registration opening, the game has garnered 2 crore pre-registrations. On the very first day, the game had 76 lakh registrations, which is extremely high for any game.

The game developers thanked the Indian gamin community for the impeccable support they have shown to the game.

Speaking on the tremendous response by Indian fans, CH Kim, CEO of KRAFTON, Inc. said “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Indian fans for their overwhelming response to the BATTLEGROUNDS IP, first developed by me and my team in 2017. Step 2- Click on “Pre-Register” button

The makers have also announced there will be exclusive rewards for players to claim once they pre-register for the game, and download once launched. Only Indian players will be able to gain access to these rewards.

There is a clear emphasis on privacy, as evident from the statement from Battlegrounds Mobile India.

“Your personal information will be stored and processed on servers located in India and Singapore. However, we may transfer your data to other countries and/or regions to operate the game service. Only to meet legal requirements,” said the game’s new privacy policy.

“In the event of transfer to another country or region. We will take steps to ensure that your information receives the same level of protection.”
