Battlegrounds Mobile India basic guide: How to buy rename card and change IGN

Battlegrounds Mobile India was launched for Indian players on July 2, 2021. Since then, many minute changes have been introduced in the game. One of the changes was the disbandment of in-game clans. Since then, many players have joined new clans, have been wanting to change their in-game names.

As a reward for downloading Battlegrounds Mobile India, the developers have given each player a rename card. Players will be able to change their name with the help of that card. However, if players do not know how to use the rename card, here is a basic guide.

How to change IGN in Battlegrounds Mobile India

Changing name, and looking identical to the clan tag/name is a prerequisite in many competitive tournaments. A lot of times, teams could also get disqualified if they don’t have identical name tags. However, for players who don’t play competitive, experimenting with IGN could give them a cool name. How to change IGN for players who wish to use the already given rename card:

1. Open Battlegrounds Mobile India.
2. Go to the in-game mail and click on rewards and collect the rename card.
3. Players should then go to the inventory and scroll down to last option.
4. Players then have to click on the rename cards and click on use.
5. A pop up will appear and players will have to type or paste their desired username and click on confirm.

Players’ username will be changed. However, there is an additional procedure to buy a rename card. A rename card can be purchased from the shop, and will cost players 180 UC. After buying UC, players will be able to get a rename card.

Players can follow the above steps to change ING

1. Open Battlegrounds Mobile India.
2. Buy UC and then go to the shop to purchase the rename card.
3. Players should then go to the inventory and scroll down to last option.
4. Players then have to click on the rename cards and click on use.
5. A pop up will appear and players will have to type or paste their desired username and click on confirm.
