Ash revealed that he started his esports career with the clan CSPG during the early days of PUBG Mobile tournaments in India. After his team, CSPG, secured the runner-up position in their first tournament, they were signed by 8Bit, marking the start of Ash’s professional journey. Later, he joined top esports organizations like Fnatic and Orangutan Gaming, which helped him to further hone his skills and establish himself as a prominent figure in the Indian esports scene. From CSPG to Orangutan Gaming, Ash describes his gaming journey

During an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on his Instagram handle, Ashish “Ash” Bhatnagar, a professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player from Orangutan Gaming, was asked about how his BGMI career started. In response, he revealed that he began his esports journey with a clan called CSPG, playing PUBG Mobile tournaments in India. He also shared that his first tournament experience was at the Fighting League 2018 – India, which was one of the earliest PUBG Mobile tournaments in India.

Ash’s team, CSPG, gave an impressive performance in the tournament, securing the runner-up position with a WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) and 63 finishes in eight matches. The team’s teamwork and skills caught the attention of 8Bit’s founder and owner, Thug. After the tournament, Thug signed the entire lineup of CSPG, and they started playing under the banner of 8Bit. Ash said, “8Bit Thug contacted us, and we were signed by 8Bit. You might already know what happened after that. After that, I joined Fnatic, and now, I am here (Orangutan Gaming).”

Ash’s journey is a testament to his perseverance and dedication towards esports, which helped him establish himself as one of the top players in the Indian esports scene. His passion and hard work have led him to represent some of the biggest esports organizations and compete at the highest level of BGMI tournaments.

Ashish “Ash” Bhatnagar, a seasoned player in the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports community, started his BGMI journey in 2018. After a short stint with 8Bit, he joined Team Fnatic in November 2019. Under his leadership, the team won the PUBG Mobile All Stars 2019 and represented India at the Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2019 in China, where they finished in the 8th position.

However, the ban on PUBG Mobile in India led Fnatic to make an exit from the scene around January 2021. After the launch of BGMI in July 2021, Ash joined a newly formed organization, Orangutan Gaming. With his impressive skills, he has secured podium finishes in the BGMI Masters Series and Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022, establishing himself as one of the top players in the Indian BGMI esports scene. Ash’s experience and expertise in BGMI esports have made him a respected figure in the community. His journey showcases the potential of Indian esports and the level of dedication required to succeed at the highest level.
