The Indian leg of the grand finale of the inaugural edition of South East Asia’s tri-nation esports tournament, WEC Global Final, came to a fitting end as top teams Arrow Esports, Chemin Esports, Total Gaming, and Orangutan Elite secured a berth in the Global Finals and are set to face the best teams from Pakistan and Nepal. The championship, which began on November 25, 2021, is now in its final leg, with the major event’s grand finale taking place from January 10-14, 2022.

Arrow Esports, Chemin Esports, Total Gaming, and Orangutan Elite made the final cut in the India finals, which saw high-voltage action between India’s top esports teams such as Arrow Esports, Chemin Esports, Total Gaming, and Orangutan Elite. Team SoloMid (TSM FTX), Blackflag Army, Aura Gaming, Stone Crushers, Desi Gamers, TG Tycoon, Helping Gamers, and UG Empire all put up a strong fight but couldn’t make it to the final clash despite impressing everyone. The action from the India finals drew a big response from fans, with a two-day live streaming session garnering a record-breaking one million views (6 lakh on the first day and 4 lakh on the second).

We’ve got some of the most recognized free fire teams from across India, Pakistan, and Nepal through the tournament and it’s heartening to see that the best and the most skilled ones will be taking on each other. The Teams representing Pakistan and Nepal who will be clashing with the Indian heroes are for the title of WEC’21 are:

Team Pakistan – Team Hotshot, The Guardians, Five mutants and Legend Style ES

Team Nepal – 2b Gamer, Tonde Gamer, Dada Gang and KM Brotherhood

The inaugural edition of the WEC, which has smartphone maker Infinix Smartphones as the title sponsor, also has a whopping prize pool of Rs. 75 lakhs.
