With the start of Season 17 of Apex Legends scheduled for May 9, it’s time for fresh teasers to start appearing in the game. On April 13, the first teaser for the game debuted, but you’ll need to look around the Firing Range to find it.

There are three sets of stairs in the back of the firing range that seem to go nowhere, past the dummies and the first few rows of square targets. And at the peak of one, players will discover a discrete cargo box that teases some eagerly anticipated Firing Range additions that will probably appear in season 17. If you need more information about Apex Legends: Cryptic season 17 teaser hints at the Firing Range update, then read carefully and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Apex Legends: The teaser for Cryptic season 17 made reference to the Firing Range update

It was specified on the box marked “Asset Migration Initiative” that it was intended to be moved to the “Dynamic Testing Facility” on Solace. Kings Canyon and the game’s Firing Range are on the planet Solace, so it appears that this box at least made it there.

The Dynamic Testing Facility also has connections to Titanfall 2, as Jack Cooper and BT first defeated Ash there, which was an IMC facility full of shifting platforms and structures. Brand-new Legendary cosmetics for characters like Fuse and Mirage were available to players, and more were added to the shop rotation each week.

The Firing Range will probably receive a minor facelift in season 17 if assets are moving to Solace and the Dynamic Testing Facility is being mentioned. And if that weren’t enough, the lot number that is listed on the box also seems to be teasing. Season 17 Firing Range 2023 Respawn is a straightforward translation of “#S17FR2K23RSPN.” The teaser briefly vanished from the Firing Range shortly after going live, but it reappeared just as quickly, and players should now be able to locate the new box.

Many players requested Firing Range improvements, such as the ability to allow dummies to strafe and fire back, infinite ammo, and more. These improvements were included in the current season of Apex. However, more players requested additional alterations to the Firing Range, such as the addition of some modest structures to some of its more open areas so that players could practise one-on-one combat with their friends there.

Players may very well get their wish for a one-vs-one arena of some kind to be added to the Firing Range next season thanks to assets moving to Solace and the Dynamic Testing Facility, famous for its assembly line structures in Titanfall 2. It’s still too early to tell what the box on the Firing Range actually means. But if the hints are accurate, it appears that season 17 will give players more quality-of-life improvements in the game’s test environment before long.
