We’re halfway through Season 15 of Apex Legends and players are constantly being bombarded with leaks that suggest big changes are coming to the game. The class system is being reworked and after waiting for what feels like decades we can finally get some Pathfinder and Mirage buffs. Apex Legends Season 16 is set to release on February 14, which coincides with Valentine’s Day. It seems that Respawn Entertainment is fully aware that much of its playerbase will be staying home to play Apex Legends.Apex Legends YouTuber and leaker Thordon Smash has suggested that a new legend may be headed for Apex Games. Ballistic Leak is the Apex Legend that could make its debut when Apex Legends Season 16 arrives. The Apex Legends Season 16 leak also reveals that the Apex Legends class system will be revised and two new character classes will be introduced.

Leaks suggest that a new Legend will not be coming into the game next season, but other leaks suggest that a new Legend known by the codename Ballistic is coming to the game. It is unknown whether the Legend will appear in Season 16 or in a later season.While a class rework doesn’t come as a surprise, the removal of arenas is one of the more drastic changes made by Respawn. The balance in arenas has been an issue for several seasons, with hammerpoint rounds and some close range-weapons being too strong. While balance changes were introduced to address meta outliers, the developers have not been able to properly balance the mode.

Several community members have datamine Titanfall map names in Apex Legends’ game files and Respawn has removed the “battle royale” tag from the game website which suggests the game may have more permanent game modes in the future.If Arenas gets removed from Apex Legends, we should get a different game mode to substitute it.
