Activision Blizzard has contended it stays devoted to Call of Duty: Mobile after Microsoft lately told UK regulators the game could be “phased out” over time with the full release of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile this year. Activision is still committed to CODM: Know in detail.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a free-to-play shooter game made by TiMi Studio Group and launched by Activision for Android and iOS. It was launched on October 1, 2019, where it was one of the biggest mobile game releases in history, creating around US$480 million with 270 million downloads in a year. Call of Duty: Mobile was launched in other areas by Garena, Tencent Games, VNG Games and TiMi Studio Group.

Microsoft made the stakes in its newest reaction to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, which is now examining the company’s proposed $69BN USD acquisition of Activision Blizzard. In a paragraph on divestment, Microsoft stated “Call of Duty: Mobile is anticipated to be phased out over time outside of China with the release of Warzone Mobile.”

Call of Duty: Mobile – a free-to-play spin on the juggernaut franchise, made by Tencent helperTiMi Studio – released in 2019 and has been a huge achievement for Activision, achieving $3BN in its first year independently.

Unshockingly, Activision Blizzard game CODM gamers – many of the players have expended for likes of premium skins around the years – were disturbed by Microsoft’s advice the game could soon be expropriated by a fresh mobile entry in the series. Right now, however, Activision has shifted to convince players CoD: Mobile isn’t going nowhere contending it will benefit the game “for the long haul”.

“We are committed to Call of Duty: Mobile as an important part of the entire Call of Duty franchise and our overall mobile strategy,” the company shared in a statement on Twitter. “We have the best fans in the world and intend to continue supporting the game with a robust roadmap of fresh new Call of Duty: Mobile content, activities, and updates for the long haul.”

Activision disclosed it would be getting its greately famoud free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile – made from the ground up for the platform by in-house maker Digital Legends – in an declaration last March. It’s now accessible as a limited launch all over the choosed countries, with a full release predicted later this year.
