Acend is an European esports organization. It entered VALORANT with the remnants Raise Your Edge Gaming, and quickly rose to the top of European competition, winning multiple regional titles. Benjamin Rolle is the founder and current CEO of the company. Unlike other teams, Acend decided to pick players from various parts of Europe and formed a team of rising talent under the guidance of Nbs and Milan. The team was formed not long ago but can easily be considered the best team in the European region.
Ascend are the World’s First Valorant Champions. In a tough final, Acend fought back from down 1-0 and 2-1 to earn a 3-2 victory over Gambit Esports in the best-of-five grand final of the Valorant Champions to claim a $350,000 prize for their performance.
Acend entered VALORANT on March 10th 2021 with a roster consisting of BONECOLD, cNed, Kiles, koldamenta, starxo and Nbs as coach. Krimson joins as a manager. Acend’s current champion roster consists of Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi, Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt, Mehmed “cNed” Yagiz Ipek, Patryk “starxo” Kopczynski, and Vlad “Kiles” Shvets. After winning the global title the team’s contract was extended by 1 year in February 2022.
