Odean Smith, the West Indies player was born on 1st November 1996. He made his international debut for the Windies cricket team in April 2018. In December 2015, he was added to the West Indies squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup as well.
In March 2018, Smith was included in the West Indies squad for their Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Pakistan. He made his T20I debut against Pakistan on 2nd April 2018 as well. In November 2021, he was added to the One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) squads for their series against Pakistan.
Moreover, in December 2021, he was named in the ODI squad for their series against Ireland whereas he made his ODI debut on 8th January 2022 against Ireland as well.

Odean Smith made his List A debut on 16th January 2015 in the 2014–15 Regional Super50 tournament whereas he made his Twenty20 debut for Jamaica Tallawahs in the 2017 Caribbean Premier League on 8th August 2017 as well. Meanwhile, he has also made his first-class debut for Jamaica in the 2017–18 Regional Four Day Competition on 7th December 2017 as well.
In May 2018, Odean Smith was selected to play for the Trinidad and Tobago national cricket team in the Professional Cricket League draft, before the 2018–19 season. In November 2019, he was added to Trinidad and Tobago’s squad for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. In June 2020, Smith was selected by Jamaica, in the players’ draft hosted by Cricket West Indies prior to the 2020–21 domestic season.
In July 2020, he was added to the Guyana Amazon Warriors squad for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League as well. In November 2021, Odean Smith was added to play for the Dambulla Giants following the players’ draft for the 2021 Lanka Premier League. In February 2022, Punjab Kings bought him in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
