Noor Ahmad is a professional cricketer, who represents Afghanistan cricket team Internationally. Noor was born on 3 January 2005 in the Herat region of Afghanistan. Noor has represented the Afghanistan team in One Day International and T20 International. Noor is a left arm spin bowler, who can take wickets and maintain a good economy rate at the same time. In the year 2022, for the first time he played for Afghanistan team Internationally. He has been a part of many domestic level cricket teams around the world. As Afghanistan is famous for producing quality spin bowlers like Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Noor is one of them. 

It was on 29 April 2019, when Noor played his first class debut match in the 2019 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4 day tournament for the Kabul Region. In the 2019 Shpageeza Cricket League, Noor played his T20 debut match for Mis Ainak Knights on 8 October 2019. After his impactful performances at domestic level, he was selected in Afghanistan’s team for the ICC under 19 cricket world cup of 2020 in December 2019. For the 2020 season of the Caribbean Premier League, Noor was signed by the St. Lucia Zouks in July 2020. On 14 October 2020, while playing for Mis Ainak Region in the 2020 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament, Noor played his debut List A match.

For the 2020-21 Big Bash League season of Australia, Noor at the age of 15 got acquired by the Melbourne Renegades to play for their team in December 2020. For the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League, Noor was selected by Chennai Super Kings as their net bowler in March 2021. Later, Noor got the chance to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), as he was signed by the Karachi Kings in June 2021 for the 2021 season. For Afghanistan’s One Day International (ODI) series against Pakistan in July 2021, Noor was selected in Afghanistan’s ODI team. It was the first time when Noor was selected for Afghanistan’s official cricket team. However he didn’t get to play in the playing eleven. 

Noor was included in the Afghanistan’s under 19 team that played in the 2021 ICC under 19 T20 world cup. For the 2022 season of the PSL, Noor was selected by the Quetta Gladiators. Against Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Noor played his debut match for Quetta Gladiators on 12 February 2022. In the 2022 mega auctions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Noor was bought by the Gujarat Titans team to play for their side. Noor was then selected in Afghanistan’s T20 team for their series against Zimbabwe in May 2022. On 14 June 2022, he played his T20I debut match against Zimbabwe for Afghanistan. On 30 November 2022, he played his ODI debut match against Sri Lanka.
