Joshua Little is a professional cricketer who represents Ireland cricket team Internationally. Joshua was born on 1 November 1999 in the Dublin city of Ireland. Joshua is a left arm medium pace bowler, who can take wickets while maintaining an effective economy rate. In September 2016, he played his International debut match for Ireland. His biggest T20 league appearances has been while playing for Gujara Titans in the Indian Premier League. At the early stage, Joshua received his training in cricket from the coach in Dublin named Andrew Leonard. Joshua unlike other cricketers from Ireland has no experience of playing in county cricket. He rose to the limelight with his own talent and performance.

It was on 19 June 2018, when Joshua played his List A debut match for Leinster Lightning in the 2018 Inter Provincial Cup. Prior to the 2019 domestic cricket season in Ireland, Joshua was awarded with the emerging player contract by the Ireland Cricket Board. In the first season of the Euro T20 Slam, a T20 league, Joshua was signed by the Dublin Chiefs in July 2019. Unfortunately, the tournament got canceled the very next month. In the 2021 season of the Lanka Premier League, Joshua was selected by the Dambulla Giants in November 2021. Prior to the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League, Joshua was selected by Chennai Super Kings as their net bowler.

Joshua was called up by the Manchester Originals during the 2022 season of The Hundred as a replacement for Sean Abbott. He then became Manchester Originals second highest wicket taking bowler with 13 wickets in just 5 innings. Joshua became the second youngest player after Waqas Khan of Hong Kong to play at the International level. He played his debut T20I match against Hong Kong on September 5, 2016. For the 2018 under 19 cricket world cup, Joshua was selected in Ireland’s team in December 2017. In 2019, he was selected in Ireland’s team for their One Day International match against England. On 3 May 2019, he played his ODI debut match for Ireland against England. 

Joshua became part of the Ireland Wolves that went on a tour to Bangladesh in February 2021. Joshua was then selected in Ireland’s team that played in the ICC T20 cricket world cup. Joshua was selected in Ireland’s team that played in the 2022 ICC T20 world cup. He became the second Irish bowler to take a hat-trick in the world cup. On 4 November 2022, while playing against New Zealand, Joshua took the hat-trick. He ended the tournament with 7 wickets in 4 matches before Ireland got out of the tournament. Joshua became Ireland’s highest wicket taking bowler in the T20 Internationals in a single calendar year. He took 36 wickets in just 26 matches.
