Philippe is a hard-hitting right-handed opener with all the shots in his book, he is also known for his wicket-keeping skills. Prior to his T20 debut in the Big Bash League of 2017-18, he scored a massive 88 runs from 92 balls opening the batting against England in a warm-up match, making the cricket world notice him. Josh made his First-Class debut for Western Australia in early 2018. He was the player of the match when the Prime Minister’s XI beat the touring South Africans on 31 October 2018.
