Hayden Walsh was born and raised in the US, he is a professional West Indian cricketer. Walsh plays the role of a right-arm leg-break bowler and left-handed batter in the team. In his early days, he played cricket in the USA domestic circuit. Walsh moved to Leeward island and played for the Leeward Volcanoes in the West Indian domestic circuit, Walsh Jr. couldn’t break it to the national side due to the presence of leg spinners like Samuel Badree and Devendra Bishoo, he was always overlooked and never got a chance to showcase his skills. He first came to the limelight during the 2018 CPL where he was brought in as a replacement. His all-round threat to the opponents earned him a contract for the following year’s CPL as well when he was picked by Barbados Trident mid-season.

Hayden Walsh made his International T20I debut for the USA and later earned his national call-up in the West Indian ODI squad for the series against Afghanistan. In December 2020, Walsh was on his way to make his Test debut against Bangladesh but after testing positive for Covid-19, he was dropped out of the squad. Hayden was picked up in the squad for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. Walsh failed to get a contract in the Indian Premier League but has been a prominent part of many T20 franchises around the globe.
