Harry Tector is a cricketer who represents Ireland Internationally. Tector played his Twenty20 cricket debut match for Munster Reds on May 26, 2017 in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Trophy. Tector made it to his List A debut o n May 28, 2018 for Northern Knights in the Inter-Provincial Cup. On May 29, 2018, he played his first-class debut match for the Northern Knights in the 2018 Inter-Provincial Championship. Tector was chosen to play for Dublin Chiefs in the first ever Euro T20 Slam cricket competition in July 2019. During that month, Tector, while batting for the Northern Knights in the 2019 Inter-Provincial Championship, hit his first-class century against Leinster Lightning.

Seeing the performance of Tector, he was chosen the Northern Knights’ new captain in March 2021, just before the 2021 season. Tector was also selected as a captain of Ireland’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup team in December 2017. Watching Ireland’s tournament matches, the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded Tector the squad’s emerging star. He took 8 wickets, and became Ireland’s highest wicket-taking bowler in the event. Tector was awarded as the Male Academy Player of the Year at the annual Cricket Ireland Awards in November 2018. Tector was chosen captain of the red-ball matches also, after George Dockrell due to some reasons had to leave from the tour.
