Ebadat Hossain is a right-arm fast bowler who plays for Bangladesh in all the 3 formats. Ebadot started his career as a volleyball player for Bangladesh Air Force. He was scouted at the training camp and went on to make his Test debut in February 2019. The right-arm pace has an uncanny ability to break partnerships and get wickets against the run of play. He has a very deceptive change of pace and has a lethal bouncer as well. He can bowl with tremendous pace and is seen clocking over the 145 kmp/h on a regular basis.
Ebadot was picked up by the Rajshahi Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League and went on to have a very good first season with the ball. Hossian was very impressive during the 2019 season as well. In the last game, he ended up with figures of 4 for 17 against Chittagong Vikings which led to his inclusion in the squad, in place of Taskin Ahmed who was nursing an injury. He has come up with some valuable performances in the recent past as well, he was one of the top bowlers against India in the 2022 ODI Series.
