Donavon Ferreira is a professional South African cricketer. He play the role of an allrounder in the team and yet to represent his National team. The hard hitting allrounder made his Twenty20 debut for Northerns in the 2018 Africa T20 Cup in 2018. He made his List A debut the next year, 2019 for the Northerns in the 2019–20 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge. Ferreira is a right handed hard hitting batter who can also turn his arm around and bowl handy off spinners. He has gone from strength to strength since his arrived into the scene and has made the cricket world take notice of his raw talent.
Donavon made his debut for South Africa’s first-class side Northerns in 2018 and scored a total of 539 runs in 21 T20 innings at an average of 41.46, On the back of some brilliant performances. Donavon Ferreira was picked up by the Johannesburg Super Kings’ in the inaugural edition of the SA20 League, Jo’burg Super Kings spent INR 2.64 crores at the inaugural SA20 Auction. He made the headlines after he struck a 28-ball-50 in Joburg Super Kings’ first game against Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20. The all-rounder bailed his side from a precarious situation and took them to a position of strength and eventually taking them over the line with an unbeaten 82 runs of 40 balls.

Ferreira ability clear the boundary at will and get runs at a very quick pace makes his a valuable asset to any team, the flamboyant all rounder was the talk of the town when the franchises at the Indian Premier League showed interest in him, Ferreira was bagged by the Rajasthan Royal for a sum of 50 lakhs in the 2022 auction held in Kochi. This exciting talent went under the radar last year but seems to be piling in the performance this year, it will be exiting for the youngster to take park in the World’s most competitive league and this is only going to improve his game further.
