Later that next season, he shifted his base to Nottinghamshire when he signed a four-year contract. In 2021, Duckett was picked by Welsh Fire for the inaugural edition of the Hundred. Unfortunately, Duckett went unsold in the Indian Premier League Auction but his all the ingredients to become a future T20 star. Ben Duckett was picked up by Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League and Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League.
