Alzarri’s talent was spotted early and the right-arm pacer was fast-tracked into the West Indies U-19 squad, he was the leading wicket-taker in the 2016 U-19 World Cup and helped his team lift the trophy. Alzarri Joseph also has the uncanny ability to get some valuable runs down the order with the bat in hand. Joseph made his first-class debut in November 2014 and a year later made his List-A debut in the Super50 tournament.
A string of impressive performances in the domestic circuit earnt him, his maiden ODI cap against Pakistan in October 2016. Joseph was bagged by the Mumbai Indians in the 2019 season of the Indian Premier League. Joseph was signed by Worcestershire ahead of the 2021 Championship season as an overseas player, he has gone on to represent other franchises in T20 Leagues across the globe. Gujarat Titans picked Joseph in their inaugural season and he was very impressive throughout the tournament, contributing towards their first IPL title.
