Hampshire will play against Sussex in their next match in the Vitality Blast at Southampton in the Rose Bowl on June 3. Hampshire had a poor start to the tournament as they were all out for 74 runs. However, they have played four games so far and won two, one while chasing a 172 and another by posting a huge total of 214 against Essex as well. However, in their last game, James Vince smashed 103 and set the base for a huge total of 215 as well. While bowling, Hampshire started picking up the wickets at regular intervals where Nathan Ellis claimed three for 10, Scott Currie’s three for 21, and Liam Dawson’s four for 21 and they sealed the deal with ease.
On the other hand, Sussex is still searching for winning combinations as well, with multiple changes in the first three games as well. In their last game, they bowled first but they couldn’t do well apart from Tymal Mills, who took 2 wickets and leg spinner Shadab Khan, who took 3 wickets for 28 runs. At one stage, Sussex were 15 for 4 while chasing, and the only positives were James Coles (35), Tom Clark (31) and Ollie Carter (27), but their efforts went in vain as Sussex lost the game. However, they will try to win their upcoming game as well.
