The United States will face United Arab Emirates in the second match of the tri-series, which includes Scotland, at Mannofield Park, Aberdeen on Thursday. United States are at the fourth spot in the points table with 23 points in their kitty while United Arab Emirates are third with 26 points. A win for any side will help them bolster their chances to qualify for the 2023 World Cup. 

The inaugural edition of the Cricket World Cup League Two began in August 2019 as a qualification procedure for the 2023 World Cup. The seven-team tournament is being played in a tri-series and One-Day International (ODI) format. All the teams will be participating in a round-robin format in the inaugural stage. The final leg of the tournament will be played in February 2023.
