Karnataka and Saurashtra will face each other in the first semi-final while the other semi-final will be contested between Maharashtra and Assam. Maharashtra defeated Uttar Pradesh by 58 runs following Gaikwad’s 13th List A century. They reached 330 for 5 thanks to that knock. Before Gaikwad helped them flip a switch in the 30th over, the innings rarely got out of second gear. Gaikwad scored 43 runs from a single over when he hit 7 sixes in the 49th over. Uttar Pradesh too had a centurion in Aryan Juyal, but a lack of partnerships thwarted their chase in the middle order. UP got near the target thanks to Juyal’s 159 off 143 balls, his third List-A century.

Riyan Parag

Juyal’s India Under-19 teammate from the 2018 batch, Riyan Parag, lit up the Gujarat college pitch with his third List A hundred, helping Assam chase down an intimidating 351 against Jammu & Kashmir. In addition, all of Parag’s centuries have occurred in this event, making him the season’s third-highest run-getter. He has 537 runs in eight innings, with an average of 76 and a 122.88 strike rate. He has also taken nine wickets till now this season.

Chirag Jani

As Tamil Nadu’s campaign came to an end in Nadiad, Saurashtra’s Chirag Jani demonstrated his all-around ability. Jani’s 31-ball 52 not out provided Saurashtra late impetus as they posted a solid 293 for 8, which Tamil Nadu failed to chase and fell short by 44 runs. Jani also took three wickets with his seam-ups to finish the game.

Abhishek Sharma and Vidwath Kaverappa

Punjab were defeated by Karnataka at the Motera, despite Abhishek Sharma’s 109. Sharma’s knock established the groundwork for Punjab’s fighting 235, but it wasn’t enough to even against a misfiring Karnataka line-up. Karnataka’s finest bowler Vidwath Kaverappa picked up 4 for 50. Kaverappa is the third-highest wicket-taker this season, with 16 wickets in seven games.
