The sixth edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League 2022 started on June 23 at Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli where the defending champions Chepauk Super Gillies played against Nellai Royal Kings in the first game. Nellai Royal Kings won the game in the super over. However, the second game of the tournament will be played between Dindigul Dragons and Ruby Trichy Warriors on June 24 at the same ground. However, the tournament will see a total number of 32 matches this season (28 league games + playoffs and final).
The Indian Cement Company Ground, Tirunelveli, the NPR College Ground, Dindigul, the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore, and the Salem Cricket Foundation Stadium, Salem are the venues that will host all the matches of TNPL 2022. However, the sixth match of this competition will be played between Ruby Trichy Warriors and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans on Monday, June 27 at Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli at 7.15 PM as well.
