TNPL 2022: Prize Money, Team Owners, Team Value, List of Winners

The Tamil Nadu Premier League 2022 is around the corner and it promised to be a season full of excitement. The Tamil Nadu Premier League 2022 will get underway from June 23 with defending champions Chepauk Super Gillies taking on Nellai Royal Kings in the inaugural fixture. A total number of 32 cricket matches (28 league + playoffs and final) will be played in the TNPL 2022. 

Eight teams will be competing for the title – Chepauk Super Gillies, Dindigul Dragos, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, Lyca Kovai Kings, Nellai Royal Kings, Ruby Trichy Warriors, Salem Spartans and Siechem Madurai Panthers. The Playoffs will be held at Salem and Coimbatore with the final to be played at Coimbatore on July 31.The tournament has been organized by Tamil Nadu Cricket Association since 2016 and rising players like Shah Rukh Khan have been a product of it.

TNPL 2022: Prize Money

The TNPL 2022 will feature six double-headers with the first match of the day starting at 3:15 p.m. All evening matches will start at 7:15 p.m (IST). TNPL 2022 will be televised LIVE in English on Star Sports Network. Viewers can also watch live streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The winner of the TNPL 2022 will receive a price money of INR 1 crore. Let us have a look at the all the prizes.

• Champions – ₹1 crore (US$130,000)
• Runner up – ₹60 lakh (US$79,000)
• Two semi-finalists – ₹40 lakh (US$52,000) each
• Remaining participants – ₹25 lakh (US$33,000)
