The Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup has ended and the four teams to have qualified for the semifinals are New Zealand, England, India, and Pakistan. New Zealand will battle it out with Pakistan in the first Semi-Final and England will go up against India in the second Semi-Final. There have been some fabulous performances in the tournament so far, let’s have a look at the 3 best individual performers from the super 12 stage.

Virat Kohli (India)

Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer in this T20 World Cup, scoring 246 runs in 5 matches with a staggering average of 123.00. The right-hand batter has been India’s key batsman in this T20 World Cup, bailing India out of difficult situations and His knocks against Pakistan, Netherlands, and Bangladesh proved how valuable he is to the Indian team. Kohli has looked in prime form and is among the best performers in the ICC T20 World Cup. He will play a key role in the Semi-Finals against England

Glenn Phillips (New Zealand)

Glenn Phillips has been phenomenal in the T20 World Cup so far, he has bailed out New Zealand from tough situations and played some outstanding knocks with bat in hand. Phillips has scored 195 runs in five matches and has also taken the best catch of the tournament so far. He will be key in the battle with Pakistan in the Semi-Finals on Wednesday and is also one of the contenders for winning the player of the tournament award.

Shadab Khan (Pakistan)

Shadab is one of the best T20 all-rounders going around, he has been a key player in Pakistan’s success in the T20 World Cup. His match-winning knock against South Africa, scoring 52 from 22 balls and tremendous bowling saved Pakistan from the verge of elimination. He is also Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker, scalping 10 wickets in 5 matches with an economy of 6.22. The 24-year-old’s ability to contribute with both bat and ball makes him Pakistan’s best T20 player and is a possible top contender for winning the player of the tournament award.
