T20 Blast has reached the end of the group league games where Worcestershire will take on Lancashire in their upcoming fixture on Friday, July 1 at the New Road in Worcester. Worcestershire is currently placed at the bottom of the points table and they have 3 points to their name after having won only 1 game and losing 10 as well where one game ended in a draw. On the other hand, Lancashire is placed second in the points table with 16 points to their name from 7 wins and 3 defeats as well.

Worcestershire faced a massive 144-run defeat to Warwickshire in their last game. Adam Hose’s unbeaten 110 and Dan Mousley’s 34-ball 53 helped Warwickshire to a massive 228 runs with little contribution from the others as well. Danny Briggs’s four-wicket haul then sealed the deal for his side by restricting Worcestershire to just 84 in 15.3 overs. Meanwhile, Hose became the first Warwickshire player to score two Blast centuries as well.

Starts from Luke Wells (42) and Steven Croft (47) helped Lancashire but despite Tim David’s late surge with an unbeaten 23-ball 42, they failed to reach the finish line as well.
