Northamptonshire will take on Warwickshire on June 22, Wednesday in the match of the T20 Blast Nouth Group at the County Ground in Northampton. Northamptonshire is currently at the second in the points table having won five and losing two with 11 points as well. On the other hand, Warwickshire is currently at the third position in the points table, having won five and losing three games with 10 points as well.
As far as Northamptonshire’s last game is concerned, Chris Lynn’s fourth T20 century (113*) which came off 57 balls and Joshua Cobb’s all-round brilliance helped Northamptonshire’s huge 73-run win over Worcestershire. Lynn smashed nine sixes and eight fours to help his side put up a massive total of 220 runs for 3 after electing to bat. He was well supported by Cobb, who smashed a 30-ball 50 as well. Later, Cobb’s maiden T20 fifer, backed up by Tom Taylor’s triple strike helped also.

Warwickshire lost to Yorkshire by 10 wickets in their last game in Birmingham while chasing down the required 102 runs in just 12.5 overs in their last game. The bowlers did well as Warwickshire managed to strike early with quick scalps. Chris Benjamin (26), Adam Hose (20) and Jake Lintott (16) were the only notable contributors with the bat to take Warwickshire to a score of 101 before being bowled out in 16.5 overs as well. Meanwhile, Yorkshire openers Adam Lyth (58) and Dawid Malan (38) successfully chased down without any hurdles as well within 13 overs.
