Northamptonshire will face Derbyshire in the T20 Blast 2022 North Group contest at the County Ground, Northampton on Tuesday. Northamptonshire are currently second in the North Group points table after winning three matches, losing two and one match ending in no result with seven points from their six outings while Derbyshire are languishing at the bottom-half of the table with four points. It will be an important contest for Derbyshire to stay alive in the race to quarter-finals.
Northamptonshire will rely on the performance of Australia hard-hitting batter Chris Lynn who has been in form at the T20 Blast 2022. Captain Josh Cobb, New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham are the other important players in their squad. Derbyshire will, meanwhile, hope their captain Shan Masood to guide them the way with Sri Lanka spinner Suranga Lakmal playing a key role in the bowling department.
