The league stage games of the T20 Blast 2022 have come to their final stage where Middlesex will play against Somerset in their upcoming fixture on Friday, July 1 at Lord’s in London. Middlesex is placed second from the bottom in the points table with 8 points to their name from 4 wins and 8 defeats as well. Meanwhile, Somerset is currently placed second in the points table and they have 16 points to their name after having won 8 games and losing 4 as well.

Middlesex last played against Essex and lost by 21 runs. Middlesex won the toss and opted to bowl first where they got some early success too. However, Daniel Lawrence scored a quickfire fifty (51 off 35) and Tom Westley scored a 41-ball 50 to help the side post 161 runs in 20 overs. Chris Green scalped 3 for 16 in 3 overs as well. While chasing, Stephen Eskinazi (43) and Jack Davies (41)could contribute but the lack of contribution from others saw them manage to score 148 in 20 overs as well.

On the other hand, Somerset registered a 16-run win over Glamorgan in a rain-affected game. The game was reduced to a 7-overs-a-side contest due to inclement weather and rain. After a poor start where Somerset lost 4 wickets for just 15 runs, Tom Abell (26) and Tom Lammonby (18) helped them to put up 75 runs in 7 overs along with Ben Green, who smashed a 6-ball 17 as well. Meanwhile, bowlers did well as Glamorgan could manage only 59/5 with Colin Ingram the lone contributor who was unbeaten on 37 off 19.

Indian viewers can live stream the T20 Blast 2022 on the Fan Code app. The ECB will again host live streams of every match on the ECB website and ECB app while Sky Sports is set to broadcast 19 matches throughout the group stage, with each county set to feature at least twice before the four quarter-finals and Finals Day. It will also be available via BBC Local Radio stations with extensive coverage also on 5 Live Sports Extra.
