The league stage games of the T20 Blast 2022 have come to their end-stage where Essex will take on Glamorgan in their upcoming fixture on Saturday, July 2 at County Ground in Chelmsford. Essex is currently placed third on the points table and they have 15 points to their name after having won only 7 games and losing 4 as well. On the other hand, Glamorgan is currently placed fourth from the bottom at the points table and they have 10 points to their name after having won only 4 games and losing 6 as well.

Essex beat Surrey in their last game but they remained at the top despite their 43-run defeat to Essex, who moved to third place as well. Michael Pepper (48) and Phil Walter (49) top-scored for Essex as they post 198 on the board. Reece Topley returned with 4-37, restricting them to getting a total of over 200. Surrey, in reply, never got the start after losing Jason Roy in the first over. Jamie Smith, Rory Burns and Chris Jordan got starts but couldn’t contribute beyond the 30s, finishing with 155/9 with Aaron Beard returning 4-29 as well.

On the other hand, Glamorgan lost their last game to Somerset by 16 runs in a rain-affected game. The game was reduced to a 7-overs-a-side contest due to inclement weather and rain. After a poor start where Somerset lost 4 wickets for just 15 runs, Tom Abell (26) and Tom Lammonby (18) helped them to put up 75 runs in 7 overs along with Ben Green, who smashed a 6-ball 17 as well. Meanwhile, bowlers did well as Glamorgan could manage only 59/5 with Colin Ingram the lone contributor who was unbeaten on 37 off 19.

Indian viewers can live stream the T20 Blast 2022 on the Fan Code app. The ECB will again host live streams of every match on the ECB website and ECB app while Sky Sports is set to broadcast 19 matches throughout the group stage, with each county set to feature at least twice before the four quarter-finals and Finals Day. It will also be available via BBC Local Radio stations with extensive coverage also on 5 Live Sports Extra.
