Sussex will host World Test Championship 2019-21 winners New Zealand in a four-day practice match at the County Ground, Hove, starting from Friday. The practice match will mark the beginning of the gruelling New Zealand tour of England 2022 which will end with the three-Test series on June 27. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson who will be leading the side after recovering from an injury and captaining SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 will be hoping to make the most of the England tour. He will, however, not be available for the practice match as he has left the IPL 2022 bio-bubble to attend his wife who is expecting their second child. Sussex will look to put their best foot forward against the champions.Â
The four-day practice match between Sussex and New Zealand will be played at the County Ground, Hove from May 20 to 23. However, as it is a practice game, no television channel will telecast it. But the highlights of the match and its relevant happenings could be watched on the official YouTube channel of Sussex Cricket.Â
