Sri Lanka will lock horns with Afghanistan in the 3rd ODI at the Pallekele International Stadium on Wednesday. The first bilateral series between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka started off with a strong start after the Afghan team defeated the home side in the opening match, but the second game resulted in a washout. Afghanistan are leading the series by 1-0 and has gained significant Super League points. The game promises to be a very entertaining one.
The second match got abandoned due to rain but in the first inning, Afghanistan batted first and scored 228/10 in 48.2 overs. Afghanistan has a big chance on their hand to grab a win and clinch this series, while Sri Lanka on the other hand would like to get a win and level the series. This could be a good competitive match between the two sides, both teams have displayed good bowling capabilities on the turning tracks and we could once more see the bowlers take charge in this contest. Sri Lanka will start as favourites to win the match and level the series.
