A record number of 86,174 spectators were present there as well.
Meanwhile, South Africa has recently hosted the inaugural Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup where India registered a convincing win as well. However, most of the games, including both semifinals and the final game, will take place in Newlands as well. While five matches will be played at St George’s Park in Gqeberha over the course of seven days, a few games will take place at Boland Park in Paarl as well. While Australia are the firm favourite, other teams will give a tough fight too.
