South Africa Women will take on Sri Lanka Women in the 1st match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 at Newlands in Cape Town on Friday, February 10. South Africa is the host of the mega event where the event begins on February 10th with a match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. However, Australia are the defending champion where the final Women’s T20 World Cup match was played in early 2020 at the MCG to watch the hosts Australia beat India by 85 runs. While Australia are the firm favourite, other teams will give a tough fight too.
