Despite being a massive blow to the Indian cricket team for the upcoming WTC final, the team most affected by Shreyas’ unavailability seems to be his IPL franchise, KKR. In his first match as skipper Rana’s team suffered seven-run loss to Punjab Kings (PBKS). KKR currently sit in 7th place on the table with a -0.438 run rate. They will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their second match on April 6 at the Eden Gardens.
