77 One Day matches will take place in the Royal London One-Day Cup 2022, which started on 2nd August and run until 17th September. The domestic 50-over competition will see some big names taking part as well. While India all-rounder Krunal Pandya will participate in country cricket for the first time after signing a contract with Warwickshire for the Royal London Cup, Middlesex Cricket signed India speedster Umesh Yadav for the rest of the County Championship and the Royal London ODI Cup as well. On the other hand, Lancashire have signed Washington Sundar for upcoming fixtures and he will be available for the Royal London One-Day Cup as well.
However, the tournament started on Tuesday, August 2 and Surrey will take on Warwickshire in their next fixture on August 7, Friday at Kennington Oval in London. Surrey last played against Durham and won by 9 wickets. A great bowling show from Surrey restricted the opponents within 181 and then they chased it down within 29 overs. On the other hand, Warwickshire started the campaign with an 8-wicket win over Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire posted 264 runs which Warwickshire easily chased down on the back of a hundred from Dominic Sibley (106) and Robert Yates (87).
