England is currently hosting the Royal London One-Day Cup 2022 in several venues which started on August 2 and the final will be played on September 17 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Many Indian players are currently taking part in the tournament, including Umesh Yadav, Washington Sundar, and Krunal Pandya as well. However, Essex will take on Kent in their next fixture on Thursday, August 11, at County Ground, Chelmsford in their next fixture of Royal London One-Day Cup 2022.

Essex’s first match against Lancashire was abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain. Meanwhile, their last two games were against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire where they lost by 92 runs and 3 wickets respectively. On the other hand, Kent started their journey with a win over Worcestershire by 7 wickets. But they lost the next two Glamorgan and Hampshire by 3 wickets and 163 runs respectively. And both teams are likely to try winning the game as well.
