Rashid was bowling for his team MI Cape Town against Pretoria Capitals when he took the wicket of Clyde Fortuin and concluded the match with three wickets for 16 runs in four overs. Rashid Khan has been a force to be reckoned with on the franchise circuit, where he has a tendency for picking up wickets at regular intervals throughout the game. The spinner was just reappointed by the captain of the Afghanistan T20I Cricket Team.
Rashid accomplished the feat by dismissing Clyde Fortuin in the 14th over of the Pretoria Capitals match. Dwayne Bravo of the West Indies is the only other cricketer with 500 T20 wickets. Bravo has 614 wickets to his credit. Rashid has been a key member of Afghanistan’s cricket team for some time, and he has also proven his worth in T20 tournaments around the world.
