Ranji Trophy: Baroda looking for Deepak Hooda replacement

Baroda is looking for an ideal candidate to replace Hooda in the side. The all-rounder had parted ways with the side after he had complained to the management of their former captain Krunal Pandya abusing him in front of the other teammates. “Baroda has decided to rope him in as he has expressed his willingness to play for the team. The team is already looking for Deepak Hooda’s replacement,” a BCA told the Indian Express.

Ranji Trophy: Ambati Rayudu performance in IPL 2022

Despite a poor season from CSK, who have been knocked out of the tournament, Rayudu had been a vital cog for them as he has scored 271 runs in 12 matches at an average of 27.10. He caused a major havoc on social media on Saturday noon after announcing his decision to retire from the Indian Premier League via a tweet following the ongoing season. “I am happy to announce that this will be my last IPL. I have had a wonderful time playing it and being a part of 2 great teams for 13 years,” tweeted Rayudu. “Would love to sincerely thank Mumbai Indians and CSK for the wonderful journey.”

However, Rayudu was quick to delete the tweet which he posted at 12:46pm on his twitter account to indicate that he has reversed his spontaneous decision to retire from the lucrative tournament. Before deleting his tweet several members from the Indian cricket fraternity and fans alike congratulated him for being a fantastic servant to the game for over a decade. It is understood that the CSK management played a major role in reversing his decision.
