Queensland will lock horns with Victoria in the 12th match of the Marsh Cup at the Allen Border Field in Brisbane on Tuesday, the 14th of November, 2022. Victoria have blown hot and cold in the season so far, they have won two out of four games and Queensland on the other hand are yet to get off the mark after losing all three games that they have played.

Queensland lost their last match against Western Australia but it was an incredibly narrow defeat by only five runs. Matt Renshaw has been amongst the runs but they will be hoping for better performances from Jimmy Peirson, Usman Khawaja, and Marnus Labuschagne, who are all usually reliable with bat in hand. Gurinder Sandhu, Michael Neser, and Mark Steketee have been the pick of the bowlers for Queensland and they team will be hoping for one of them to put up a match winning performance.

For Victoria, Marcus Harris or Peter Handscombtwo have been in excellent touch, they have been the chief contributed towards Victoria success in the Marsh Cup. Harris was brilliant in the recent win over Tasmania, as he scored a whopping 142 runs from 139 deliveries, he is become of the of the talents to watch out for in Australia. Sutherland and Scott Boland have consistently done well with the ball, they pair are in fine form heading into this encounter. Boland has picked up 4 wickets in his last two games and will be a threat to Queensland in this encounter.
