Indian speedster Prasidh Krishna was born on 19th February 1996. He plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League as well. He made his India debut on 23rd March 2021 against England where he claimed 4 wickets, breaking a 24-year-old Indian record for most wickets on an ODI debut as well. His debut figures were (8.1-Overs, 1 Maiden, 54 Runs, 4 Wickets, 0 No-Balls, 7 Wide, 6.60 runs/over). In May 2021, he was named one of four standby players in India’s Test squad for the final of the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship in their away series against England too.
In February 2022, Prasidh Krishna was named to India’s Squad for ODIs against West Indies. In the 1st ODI, he picked up 2 wickets for 29 runs in 10 overs. He maintained his stunning form in the 2nd ODI and scalped 4 wickets for just 12 runs in 9 overs and took 3 wickets for 27 runs in the 3rd ODI and got the Man of the Series award as well. In April 2018, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders as a replacement for injured pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti. On 6th May 2018, he made his IPL debut against Mumbai Indians. In February 2022, Rajasthan Royals bought him for ₹10 Cr in the mega auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
