On 11 January 2023, Pakistan will host the visiting New Zealand side at the National Stadium in Karachi for the second ODI (Wednesday). Hosts Pakistan will be buzzing following a convincing 6-wicket win against New Zealand in the first ODI. The Babar Azam-led side now leads the three-match ODI series 1-0. New Zealand, on the other hand, will be looking to mount a strong comeback in both the batting and bowling departments in order to level the series on Wednesday.

The Karachi field is anticipated to be a sporting one. Particularly in the first half, fast bowlers are more prone to experience reverse swing. The strategy for teams should be to win the toss and field first. Temperatures will be approximately 26 degrees Celsius with no risk of rain. In the second half of the game, there will be dew and a humidity level in the high 60s.
