India will lock horns with Australia in the second One Day International on the 19th of March at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy also known as the VDCA Cricket Stadium. After a very competitive Test series, the two teams battled it out in the first ODI, Wankhade Stadium hosted the first game which turned out to be a low-scoring thriller, where India held their nerve and got over the line. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were the best performers for the hosts. India will be looking to make it 2-0 in this encounter. The last time these two teams met in the ODI format was back in 2020 in Australia where the hosts managed to win that series by a margin of 2-1. Team India will be looking for redemption in this series and will try their best to take an unassailable lead in the series.

Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian side in the absence of Rohit Sharma. It will be interesting to see if India will go with one or two spinners, the pitch tends to favour spin bowlers at this venue. Australia on the other hand, had a forgettable game in Mumbai and will be desperate to restore parity by winning this match. Although most of their batters got out cheaply, Mitchell Marsh passed the Indian challenge with flying colours, amassing an aggressive 65-ball 81 including ten fours and five humongous sixes. Australia has to get their best game out tomorrow and will look to level the series. The Aussies will look to make some changes, we might see Aston Agar replacing Sean Abbott, Nathan Ellis has also been brilliant in the Big Bash League and could get a go tomorrow.
