Afghanistan can make life pretty difficult for Pakistan in this series and it will be interesting to see who gets over the line in the 1st T20I.
The stage is set for some action-packed drama between Pakistan and Afghanistan to unfurl, the first of the three-match T20I series will take place on the 24th of March 2023. All games will be played at Sharjah. We have witnessed some high-intensity matches between the two sides in the past and expect this series to be mouth-watering as well. Pakistan has rested some of their big players for this series and it will be Shadab Khan who will lead the side in the absence of Babar Azam. This is a golden opportunity for some young players to deliver on a big stage and we might see Pakistan play an aggressive brand of cricket with plenty of big hitters like Mohammad Haris, Iftikhar Ahmed in the squad.
It would be interesting to see how the likes of Ihsanullah and Zaman Khan go about their business on the international stage.
