Sunrisers Eastern Cape will face MI Cape Town in the ninth match of the SA20 2023 on Monday, January 16 at St. George’s Park. Sunrisers Eastern Cape is coming into the encounter, having suffered a loss at the hands of the high-flying Pretoria Capitals at Supersport Park in Centurion, and are struggling at the foot of the league after two games. With a win over MI Cape Town, the Aiden Markram-led team will try to secure their first win and generate some momentum. MI Cape Town has begun the SA20 season strongly, winning two of their first three matches. Despite their batting woes, MI Cape Town’s bowling has been outstanding, with Kagiso Rabada excelling in the last game.
