Malaysia will play against Thailand on July 7, Thursday at UKM-YSD Cricket Oval, Bangi in Malaysia which will be the 9th match of the Malaysia Quadrangular Series 2022. The Malaysia Quadrangular Series 2022 started on July 2 with four nations featuring in the T20 tournament – Malaysia, Bhutan, Maldives and Thailand at UKM-YSD Cricket Oval, Bangi in Malaysia as well.

Thailand won the toss and opted to bat first but they could manage only 30 runs before getting all out within 13.1 overs. Notably, no batter could reach the double-figure. Syazrul Idrus picked up 4 for 17 whereas Virandeep Singh claimed 3 for 7 as well. While chasing, Malaysia reached the target within 4 overs. Virandeep Singh scored 18 and Syed Aziz Mubarak hit 15 and sealed the deal for their side as well.
