IPL Auctions 2023: Players with a base price of 1 crore

Mayank Agarwal, the most talked about Indian player, has set his base price in the INR 1 Crore bracket. Agarwal, who captained the Punjab Kings last season, was released by the club, and the Karnataka native is expected to fetch a high price in the next auction.

With the IPL 2023 auction set to take place on December 23, as many as 991 players have registered for the original list, which will be trimmed later. Popular players such as Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, and the outstanding all-rounder Cameron Green have all put their base costs in the INR 2 Crore category, while Mayank Agarwal, the most talked about Indian player, has set his base price in the INR 1 Crore bracket.
Agarwal, who captained the Punjab Kings last season, was released by the club, and the Karnataka native is expected to fetch a high price in the next auction.

Manish Pandey, who owns the record for the first century by an Indian player in tournament history, has been released by the Lucknow Super Giants and is also featured in the INR 1 Crore bracket. According to ESPNCricinfo, Kedar Jadhav is the only other Indian-capped player in the INR 1 Crore group, and he last played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2021. Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, who was a member of the KKR squad last season, has also signed, and Moises Henriques and Andrew Tye are among the notable IPL names to register in the INR 1 Crore bracket.

Joe Root and Kyle Jamieson also have returned to the IPL auctions, while Root has registered for the first time since 2018, Jamieson missed the last season after making his debut in the 2021 season. David Weise too has placed himself in this bracket.
