South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi ignited a debate between India-Pakistan fans on twitter after his 'Delhi temperature' comment.
South Africa have landed in India for the five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, starting on June 9. The visitors landed a few days prior to the much-anticipated series after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 in the bid to acclimatize to the conditions in the sub-continent. The weather in India usually goes up to 50 degree celsius in summer which can be testing for the visitors and South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has already got a feel of it.

Shamsi, the left-arm spinner, who is an integral part of the South African squad for the upcoming series took to twitter to make a sarcastic remark about the boiling temperature in the Indian national capital. “Just a cool 42 degrees outside….not hot at all lol,” he said in a tweet. The tweet sparked a debate between India and Pakistan fans with many claiming that the heat in Multan which will host the Pakistan vs West Indies series is far much more than Delhi.
